Course summary

Mindfulness - non-judgemental present moment attention training - has been shown by a growing number of studies to have beneficial effects on health, productivity and team dynamics. Corporate mindfulness and meditation training is now used by many large companies such as Google, Apple and Virgin. Mindfulness at work helps people to be healthier, happier, smarter, more efficient, creative and resilient. The techniques provided on this one-day Mindfulness course can encourage new ways of working that increase engagement and reduce absenteeism, enable leaders to utilise human potential theories, leading staff through change in an uncertain environment, improve workplace productivity and resilience and provide coaching techniques using mindfulness. Not least, mindfulness will provide you with personal strategies to reduce stress, regain balance and improve your focus in everyday life.

We can deliver this course virtually for your organisation, on a date and time that suits you. If you have four or more people who would like to attend this course then group training could be the most cost-effective option.     This powerful one-day Mindfulness course will introduce you to mindfulness, tell you everything you need to know about the science behind this evidence based practice and provide you with the opportunity to practice mindfulness techniques that will benefit you both personally and professionally. This London based training course will cover:

  • Who is this course for?

    This course will introduce you to mindfulness and provide you with the opportunity to practice mindfulness techniques in a fun and supportive setting. If you are new to mindfulness or want to understand the neuroscience behind this practice then this course is for you.

    The Centre works with people from all sectors including the public sector, voluntary sector, corporate sector and private sector.

    Please note: This one-day training course is an introduction to mindfulness at work and offers a taster of various mindfulness practices. It may not be considered suitable at this time for those affected with acute depression, active or recent substance (alcohol or drug) addictions, P.T.S.D., bipolar disorder, current or past psychosis, significant long standing interpersonal difficulties (eg currently meeting the criteria for a personality disorder), by recent trauma, significant loss such as divorce, bereavement, or unresolved grief reaction.
