Ceri Hutton
Ceri worked for 13 years in the community and voluntary sector before becoming a consultant and trainer. She first worked in small campaign organisations, and then in international development where she set up the charity, Homeless International. Following this she went to work at the National AIDS Trust as their Head of Policy and PR. She then moved to Immunity Legal Centre where she was the Director.
Ceri has undertaken a wide variety of work with the voluntary, public and private sectors. Over recent years her research and public policy work has been particularly focused in three areas: refugee and asylum work, human rights and community regeneration.
She has particular experience in communications work (including training in PR, media and marketing) and is a DSC trainer on both internal and external communications. She is also experienced in team-building and capacity building work, and works with teams to improve both internal communications and strategic planning.
