The Centre in Old Street is perfectly situated as it has easy access to lots of different types of areas in London.
To the East of Old Street is the oh so trendy area of Shoreditch with its funky bars and gig venues. Discover London runs walking tours in the Shoreditch area.
Or travel a couple of stops north on the Northern Line and you are in fabulous Camden. Whilst in Camden you can visit the famous Camden Market with a wealth of clothes, music and food stalls.
The Centre is also located just a stone's throw from the Barbican Centre, where you can see plays, films, dance and art exhibitions.
If shopping is more your thing then the 55 bus, which goes from any of the bus stops near the Centre (going West), will take you straight to Oxford Street, where you could hit the huge Topshop at Oxford Circus, or just get lost in the waves of tourists making their way towards Tottenham Court Road, to the East or Marble Arch, to the West end of the street.
If you're a history buff then we are just around the corner from the famous Bunhill Fields cemetary where the poet William Blake is buried!
We are also not far from St Paul's where a visit to St Paul's Cathedral is a must.
For eating out, Hoxton must be the place to go. If you find Hoxton Square there are a number of bars and restaurants we would definitely recommend are worth a visit.
