Peer review
As part of our commitment to on-going learning and continuous improvement, we offer all our trainers the opportunity to take part in our peer review process.
Peer review involves a trainer sitting in and observing a colleague’s training session and giving feedback afterwards. At the centre, this is a mutual process – trainers sit in on each other’s sessions.
The process
The two trainers meet beforehand and discuss what they want to get out of the process. Typically this includes: For the trainer who is ‘sitting in’- New ideas for exercises, training methods
- New thoughts on content
- The opportunity to reflect on their own practice as well as their colleague’s
- A fresh eye, and feedback, on both the content and style of their training
- New ideas for exercises, training methods
