Audit Commission

The Audit Commission is an independent body responsible for ensuring that public money is spent economically, efficiently and effectively, to achieve high-quality local services for the public. Their work includes conducting detailed audits of local government, health, housing, community safety and fire and rescue services.

The Centre, working with our partners Scarlett MccGwire Associates, has been providing Impact skills training for Audit Commission staff around the country for several years. Looking at strategies, skills and culture, we have helped them to handle meetings more effectively.
