Community Foundation Network

Community Foundation Network represents the community foundation movement in the UK. Community foundations are charities dedicated to strengthening local communities, creating opportunities and tackling issues of disadvantage and exclusion.

Community foundations manage funds donated by individuals and organisations, building endowment and acting as the vital link between donors and local needs, connecting people with causes, and enabling clients to achieve far more than they could ever by themselves.

Over the past few years, the Centre has worked on a number of different initiatives for the Network including facilitating awaydays for individual foundations. Most recently we have worked with beacon foundations, training them as trainers – helping them develop programmes to spread their best practice throughout the network.

Housing sector management and communication is one of the Centre’s specialisms and our clients include many national housing groups, housing associations, TMOs and housing advocacy groups as well as the Housing Corporation.
