Joseph Rowntree Foundation

The Joseph Rowntree Foundation was established over 100 years ago, and continues to be one of the most important funders of social research in the UK. An independent organisation, it works in partnership with academics and others to examine the root causes of poverty and social disadvantage and identify solutions. Importantly, it is committed to empowerment and works to find ways in which people and communities can take control over their own lives.

The Centre facilitated a review of the Foundation's publications output. We also undertook a communications audit, making recommendations towards a new communications strategy.
