Crisis management

Reputation is one of the most valuable assets of any organisation.  Your reputation moulds people's opinions of you and influences both what they think and what they DO.  It will encourage them to agree with your policies, donate to your charity or commission your services.

Not surprisingly, a crisis can severely shake people's confidence in your organisation.  A crisis will damage your reputation.  See knowledge@the-centre for more information on recognising the threats to your organisation's reputation.

As well as handling the root of the crisis, you also need to be able to handle media interest.   It is not easy, and most people don't have to handle crises often enough to become expert at it.  We can help - our communication experts will provide you with sound advice and training and they can also be with you, every step of the way, if a crisis strikes.

We can help you identify the risks to your reputation and help you put in place a crisis management strategy; we run crisis scenario training and media interview training;  we will help you develop messages, and put out statements, we can help your people feel in safe hands.
