Feedback skills: delivering feedback with confidence
Course summary
Feedback is extremely powerful. Handled well it can be a brilliant management tool that helps to inspire and motivate, and makes people feel valued. However, if we get it wrong, it can have a very negative impact on our staff and working relationships.
Course outline
This two and a half hour session will cover:
- understanding the importance of feedback
- using feedback as a key management tool
- different styles and levels of feedback for different situations
- establishing your preferred style when giving feedback
- dealing with difficult situations
- how to avoid common pitfalls
- a year of free support
The two and a half hour session will take place 10:00 - 12:30. You will be provided with lunch and light refreshments.
Who is this course for?
For anyone who gives feedback, either formally or informally, as part of their role, and wants to improve their skills. The Centre works with people from all sectors including the public sector, voluntary sector, corporate sector and private sector.

This power workshop will give you the skills and confidence to give both motivational feedback and also handle difficult feedback situations. It will help you to understand the power of feedback and how to enhance your personal style.
