This one day course for anyone responsible for managing volunteers will cover the essential management principles you need to ensure you give and get the best from your volunteers. This course covers:

  • how to create a volunteer strategy
  • recruitment, selection, induction and training
  • how to understand what motivates volunteers and how to keep them interested
  • different ways to support and supervise volunteers 
  • working with groups of volunteers

These volunteer management training courses take place at the Centre's Central London training suite with easy access to mainline rail and tube stations and bus routes.

Our volunteer management training courses in London are for anyone who has responsibility, or is about to take on responsibility for managing volunteers, regardless of the sector in which you work.

The Centre works with people from all sectors including the public sector, voluntary sector, corporate sector and private sector.

  • £340 plus VAT not-for-profit price (applies to all other charities and all other not-for-profit organisations, including public sector and housing)
  • £390 plus VAT standard price (applies to all other organisations)
