Course summary

Being a senior PA can, at times, be lonely and isolating. You need tact, discretion and a proactive approach to your work, as well as a good understanding of your organisation and your manager’s approach.

This two-day course helps you understand your role better and shows you how to discuss and develop your relationship with your manager. The course has been specially designed to run in-house, bringing together all PAs for senior managers, helping develop an organisation-wide approach.

Course outline

Over the 2 days you will cover:
  • working with clients and board members
  • the importance of commitment to the cause
  • identifying and working with strengths and weaknesses
  • systems for senior PAs
  • what makes a good manager
  • what can go wrong
  • communication skills
  • how to delegate
  • building your relationship with your manager
  • a year of free support

This course is part training, part workshop.  On the final afternoon, managers are also invited to enable an exchange of views and ideas, and encourage even better working relationships.
