A strong website works for your organisation 24 hours a day. This popular non-technical course helps you understand the role of website copy and how it differs from writing for other publications.
Course outline
You will look at the most effective methods of communicating information online, and at the importance of structuring your writing and using keywords. You will also improve your understanding of branding on the internet and learn techniques to keep the busy reader interested. Over the day you will cover:- how websites are read

Who is this course for?
This non-technical course concentrates on the quality of written content, so is suitable for anyone who commissions web copy, or needs to write for the web themselves. We work with people from all sectors and the Centre specialises in supporting organisations from the public sector and the voluntary sector.

(£230 plus VAT for small charities; £84.25 plus VAT for very small charities)
A ‘small charity’ discount applies to registered charities with an annual turnover of less than £3 million.
Charities with an annual turnover of less than £250,000 are eligible for a ‘very small charity’ discount.
