Fiona Russell

History and experience

Fiona is an experienced facilitator, trainer and project manager with a wide ranging practice. She works with individuals and groups to develop management skills and personal effectiveness. She combines training and coaching with project management consultancy.

Her approach is shaped by individual needs and the challenge, she has worked with a wide range of companies and organisations. Her aim is to realise the declared goals and make things happen.

Her background in the BBC involved the production and research for programmes aimed at small and medium businesses, career and personal development. She project managed multi-media campaigns on radio, TV and online. Fiona set up and managed teams located across the UK to promote stronger partnerships with business groups and local communities. Prior to this, she managed BBC Corporate Recruitment, liaising with education and community groups.

Fiona has managed large scale and niche events for corporate and education sectors. She is a qualified careers advisor and coach.

Clients

Fiona works with corporate, public sector and not-for-profit organisations. Recent work includes developing courses for professional associations and Government agencies. She has delivered ILM and CMI management courses, worked with university students and coached individuals.

Training style

As an experienced trainer, Fiona creates programmes to suit small or large scale groups. Her style is to facilitate the group to ensure that each participant is challenged and is given a toolkit to apply back in their workplace. She encourages individuals to identify their strengths and develop resilience in managing tough situations.

Fiona is experienced in training large and small groups and training via online webinars. As a coach, she provides support and a framework for individuals to consider options and decisions to initiate change.
