Jeffrey Wotherspoon

History and experience

Jeffrey Wotherspoon is an International trainer, certified executive coach, speaker and high-risk conflict resolution specialist with a BSc (Hons) Psychology.

He is also a trustee for Peer Power, a social justice charity that is rooted in the promotion of empathy and on the advisory board for Coaching Culture at work – a global coaching organisation that provides a variety of Coach training courses recognised by the Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM) for Leadership.

Jeffrey’s background is in the youth work where he has extensive experience working on the frontline with some of the UK’s most vulnerable young people who were involved with gangs, county lines and serious youth violence as well as ex-offenders.

Jeffrey finds joy and fulfilment by using his skills to equip and serve others in their personal and professional lives.

Jeffrey has a wealth of experience, working with people across the globe, as well as in different environments such as Prisons, Academic Institutions and the Workplace. Jeffrey’s client group spans a range of socioeconomic, cultural, and professional backgrounds. This has given Jeffrey vast emotional and cultural capital which enables him to communicate appropriately and effectively with varied audiences.

Some of the clients Jeffrey has worked with include the National Education Union (NEU), London & Quadrant (L&Q), the Nursing & Midwifery Council (NMC), Cineworld and many more private and voluntary sector organisations as well as several Local Authorities.

Training Style

Jeffrey believes people learn best when they are engaged and having fun! Thus, he uses a variety of training styles to engage learners and cater for different learning abilities. When appropriate Jeffrey will conduct live demonstrations, role plays and group activities. He also uses a range of media sources that include current affairs and market research. To make the training relevant and applicable to everyday life Jeffrey uses a coaching approach to facilitate experiential learning and promote group participation by storytelling and shared group experiences.
