History and experience

Jeffrey Wotherspoon is a certified executive coach, facilitator and high-risk conflict resolution specialist with a BSc (Hons) Psychology. He is also a member of the advisory board for Coaching Culture at work – a global coaching organisation that delivers coaching training to senior executives within the corporate world.

Jeffrey’s background is in Social Work and he has worked on the frontline with some of London’s most vulnerable young people who were involved with gangs, drugs and led high risk lifestyles.

Currently, Jeffrey works across the private, public and voluntary sectors with a broad range of clients, from corporate executives to young people in custody. He specialises in using psychometric tools that raise awareness of one’s strengths and emotional intelligence. In addition to this he delivers a variety of material which includes, but is not limited to, accredited coaching courses and personal effectiveness skills.

Jeffrey finds joy and fulfilment in using his skills to empower, equip, and serve others in their personal and professional lives. He also gifts his time coaching young people from disadvantaged backgrounds on a leadership programme, which enables them to make positive changes in their community whilst learning key skills that will prepare them for future employment.

Jeffrey works with senior executives delivering accredited ILM Level 7 training. He also works with staff and foster carers from local authorities across England, charities that support clients in the UK and overseas, as well as schools, prisons and private clientele.

Training Style

Jeffrey believes that people learn best when they are engaged and having fun, so he uses a variety of training styles to engage learners whilst still catering for different learning aptitudes. If appropriate, Jeffrey will conduct live demonstrations, role plays, and group activities. He also uses a range of media sources that include current affairs and market research; this is with the purpose of ensuring his training is evidence based, relevant, and truly thought-provoking.

Jeffrey uses his coaching skills to facilitate experiential learning which allows participants to attain the feeling of real life experiences right in the training room. He also promotes group participation through storytelling and allowing the group to share their experiences, in doing so he aids strong group cohesion and learning.

Jeffrey delivers a variety of courses some of which include: Coaching skills, Listening skills, Assertiveness, Mentoring, Facilitation and Communication at work.
