Marie Burke

History and experience

Marie works with organisations that recognise people as their most important assets, and combines training with HR consultancy work.

She uses her management and HR experience in corporate and charity sectors to help people realise their potential for peace of mind in the workplace.

Having initially trained as a journalist, Marie has held positions as a writer at a weekly newspaper, an operations manager in a fund management company, a vice president of Human Resources in a global finance firm, a photographer of portraits and weddings, a Trustee to an arts education charity, and was a founding member of The Women's Equality Party in London. She is passionate about promoting equal rights and positive social change, in the world and in the workplace.

Marie is CIPD qualified, and has worked as an HR Consultant and Manager for organisations such as The Geological Society, South Bank Management Company, Kids Company, Credit Suisse and Zurich Financial Services.
