Colour

Our website does not rely on color to convey information. An alternative stylesheet is provided for visitors who have difficulty with the default colour scheme.

PDF (Portable Document Format)

Some material on ourwebsite is provided in PDF Format, and can be accessed using software such as Adobe Reader, available from http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html

For disability access, PDF files may be converted to accessible web pages using Adobe’s online conversion tools You will need the URL of the file in question. This will be in the format http://www.the-centre.co.uk/uploads/ followed by the name of the file (which is used in its link).

Scripts, applets and plug-ins

Our website does not use applets (i.e., programs designed to be executed from within another program) or plug-ins (i.e., programs that add features to a standard browser), and javascript is not essential to use our site. An alternative stylesheet is provided for visitors who have difficulty with the javascript used in the main navigation menu.
