Business writing skills
(Former name: Writing skills: the basics - two day course; Everyday writing at work; Writing effective English: essential tools and techniques)
Course summary
If you are unsure about the basic rules of grammar and punctuation, struggle to write clearly and concisely or need help with your business writing skills, this two-day business writing course will help increase your skills and boost your confidence.
On the first day the business writing training will cover the nuts and bolts of writing: grammar, punctuation and spelling. On the second day we will work on planning, structuring and presenting your work.
Your trainer will create a supportive environment, with space for discussion, peer feedback and individual attention. You will work on your own and in small groups on a range of exercises to refresh your skills and acquire new ones. The course manual will help you consolidate and develop those writing skills afterwards.
