The not-for-profit sector already has a great track record in working with volunteers. In the current climate, when funding is tight, having a team of volunteers to call on is more important than ever. Our volunteer management training courses will help you to ensure that you recruit the right volunteers for your organisation and manage them so as to harness their skills and experience effectively.

All our training courses are delivered virtually. The webinar systems used do not require software download.

    This one-day course is for anyone responsible for managing volunteers. It will cover the essential management principles you need to ensure you give and get the best from your volunteers. This course covers:

    • how to create a volunteer strategy
    • recruitment, selection, induction and training
    • how to understand what motivates volunteers and how to keep them interested
    • different ways to support and supervise volunteers

    Our volunteer management training course, in London, is for anyone who has responsibility, or is about to take on responsibility, for managing volunteers, regardless of the sector in which they work.

    The Centre works with people from all sectors including the public sector, voluntary sector, corporate sector and private sector.
