Course summary
Do you want to stand out from the crowd and give memorable, impactful presentations that really touch the audience? This fun and stretching masterclass gives you the tools and advice you need to take your presentations to the next level.
With plenty of practice using different techniques, including video and feedback, you will learn how to develop a strong personal style that plays to your strengths and iron out any problems. You will leave with skills that help you communicate well with audiences of 1000 or audiences of 3, to people you know and those you don’t, at workshops, conferences, pitches and team meetings.
This two-day course will help you find your own unique, high impact style. It will build on your exciting skills and enable you to be a highly effective spokesperson for your organisation.
Course dates and location
We can deliver this course virtually for your organisation, on a date and time that suits you. If you have four or more people who would like to attend this course then group training could be the most cost-effective option. Course outline
Over the two-days you will cover:
- what makes a memorable presentation
- preparing for a presentation, ensuring clarity and focus
- structuring your presentation for impact
- attention grabbing openings and strong closings
- using PowerPoint to enhance your presentation (avoiding death by PowerPoint)
- building rapport with your audience – the psychology of presentations
- handling questions
- developing an inspirational personal style that works in different settings
- your tone, look and body language
- representing your organisation – the implications for content and style
- speaking with warmth and colour
- getting rid of 'ums' and other mannerisms
- giving a presentation that will get quoted
- a year of free support
This is a two-day advanced presentation skills course, with a lot of practice using the different techniques, including video and feedback.

Who is this course for?
This two-day presentations skills course is suitable for those who are already reasonably experienced at giving presentations but want a masterclass to improve on their style and to get new ideas to increase their impact. If you have already attended our one-day Presentation skills course for beginners, and want to improve your skills further, then this course can help.
This highly-practical course provides the perfect opportunity to prepare and practice different types of presentation and to get input from your peers and senior practitioners (with video feedback).
The Centre works with people from all sectors including the public sector, voluntary sector, corporate sector and private sector. -

This presentation skills course will help you become a really effective presenter - and move away from the same ol', same ol'. It will give you the confidence to try new ideas and achieve high impact.
This course takes place at the Centre's Central London training suite with easy access to tube and mainline rail stations.
