Assertiveness Skills Training Courses in London
Organisations are more successful when staff interact with assurance and clarity. Do you wish you had the confidence to deal more effectively and assertively with difficult situations at work? Would you like to be able to present your ideas and opinions in ways that enable you to feel heard and respected?
These assertiveness skills training courses, which take place in Central London, are intended for anyone who feels they need to build their confidence or assertiveness, no matter what role they hold in their organisation. Over the day you will cover:
- what assertiveness means
- passive, aggressive, indirect or assertive? Recognising your own style
- taking responsibility for your role and workload
- how to delegate simple tasks
- identifying your communication strengths
- techniques for making requests and dealing with overload
- tips for disagreeing in a positive way
- stating your views clearly and being heard
- personal presentation
- listening skills
- receiving and giving praise and criticism
- participating in team meetings
The course combines training sessions with practical exercises. Participants work as a group and in pairs, and are encouraged to share their experiences.

This assertiveness skills course takes place at the Centre's central London training suite with easy access to rail, tube and bus links.

Our assertiveness skills training courses in London are suitable for anybody who wants to develop a more assertive style at work. The course is relevant to anyone at any level within their organisation, from administrators to senior managers.
The Centre works with people from all sectors including the public sector, voluntary sector, corporate sector and private sector.
